As Remembered is operated by As Remembered LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy explains what we store, how it is processed, and how to have it removed.

What data we collect

As Remembered stores the audio files you upload, their transcriptions, extracted entities (people, locations, dates, events), conflict resolution decisions, and generated narratives. We also store the email address and basic profile information used to sign in to your account.

How your data is processed

To produce transcripts and written stories, audio and text from your sessions are sent to third-party speech-to-text and AI providers that process it on our behalf, under their own privacy commitments and only to deliver the Service. We do not sell your data to any party, and we do not use your family's recordings to train publicly available AI models. If you would like the current list of providers we use, email us and we will tell you.

Family data sensitivity

We understand that oral history recordings contain deeply personal family information. All data is stored encrypted at rest. Each user's data is fully isolated — no other user can access your sessions, Series Bible, or generations.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting support. Upon deletion, all audio files, transcripts, entities, and generated content will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Cancelled subscriptions

If you cancel your Pro subscription, you retain full read access to all your existing data. We never hold your family data hostage. You can continue to view and export everything you've created.
